You are bidding on this vintage 1940's or 1950's piece of boxing memorabilia - a rare, commemorative JOE LOUIS whiskey bottle. I am selling this piece on consignment and don't know that much about it - so I will try to describe it as best I can. Please feel free to email me with any questions or any info you might have for me! The full label reads "CHAMPION OF THEM ALL" at the top - in the center it reads "JOE LOUIS" with the "JL" insignia that I think is supposed to replicate the Jim Beam "JB". "KENTUCKY STRAIGHT BOURBON WHISKEY bottled in Kentucky by THE JOE LOUIS DISTILLING CO. Lawrenceburg, Kentucky". It has a replica JOE LOUIS autograph on the bottom right of the label in red. The top of the bottle is a black engraved cork with a flower and some filigree detailing. The red paper labels on the sides of the cork are still in tact w the bottle was opened - one reads "INTERNAL REVENUE DISTILLED SPIRITS" and the other reads "INTERNAL REVENUE TAX PAID" with a serial number in the center. The bottom of the bottle is also marked in raised numbers: 5 69-52 D699 with a logo stamping of some kind. The back of the bottle reads "FEDERAL LAW FORBIDS SALE OR RE-USE OF THIS BOTTLE". (so I guess I am breaking the law by auctioning it!) The bottom front of the glass says "HALF PINT". I would say the condition of this bottle is good
