This is a super and rare white tulip by world class paperweight artist Joe St. Clair, who is no longer living. This paperweight features an expertly crafted white tulip with four white petals and four white leaves.. The is a large format tulip and measures 3.5" in diameter and the paperweight is 3.45" tall. This paperweight has three bubbles attached to the petals, but appear as dew drops. The paperweight is in excellent condition and is impress signed in the base "JOE ST. CLAIR." This one is sure to please, and is much prettier than the picture shows. The high bidder to pay $9.50 toward insured shipping in the United States. This is a No Reserve auction. Also this is a 5-Day Auction. Note: Upon taking some additional pictures for three prospective bidders I did note that if looking very carefully through the glass t is a line of extremely small minute bubbles. They can only be seen if looking across the and through the glass as it provides magnification. On the side of the paperweight closest to the bubbles one must be very close and know what to look for in order to find and see the bubbles. This line of very tiny bubbles runs less than 1/2 of the circumference of the paperweight. My best estimate is that this occured during the manufacturing of the paperweight. In my opinion these do NOT detract as the are so small and extremely difficult to see. in this otherwise beautiful paperweight. These bubbles are so small that I am unable to capture them in a picture.
