For auction:

is a rare and fabulous two piece Double Cast Iron Skillet and Pot by John C. Johnson Co. from Birmingham Alabama, circa 1942. The skillet acts as a lid when baking or otherwise. Clearly marked on the bottom of the skillet. Unconditionally guaranteed to be the real deal and in perfect condition. 10" in diameter at the wide point, 8" tall when together. Pot is 6-1/2" tall alone. May or may not have had a wire handle on it originally, but I don't think so. Very clean, no pitting, rust, just great!

FEEDBACK: I will always leave feedback once feedback has been left for me...if t is ever a question/concern about an item (not received or not as advertised,or any other problem) be sure to contact me prior to leaving anything other than positive feedback. All transactions should end with the sharing of positive feedback and 5 STARS or the buyer and seller haven't done what they could to work things out. I promise to always do what I can. My feedback states what I am about and always try to be: fast, friendly, courteous, communicative and fair. I guarantee to reciprocate with positive feedback and text as long as you are fair with me. I reserve the right to not to sell to bidders will negative or poor ratings/comments/feedback.

STAR RATINGS: Just would like to add about the new Star rating system that buyers can use along with the regular feedback to rate sellers. I will appreciate only the highest ratings because that is the service I try to provide for you. I pay for and show more pictures than most, and try to go into great detail. All of my loyal and repeat customers along with my feedback tells the story. This new rating system is too easily abused and for no reason. We are waiting for the new rating system which allows sellers to rate buyers...most would get a 5 star rating...please remember that when trying to rate our transaction. We do have the power as sellers to leave a negative remark but using a positive rating for our buyers. This will be a last resort only used if all else fails or the buyer refuses to communicate.

SHIPPING & HANDLING: Our shipping prices are pre-calculated for you to know up front t will be no surprise charges. For that reason shipping charges are non-negotiable Shipping costs are constantly going up. USPS and FedEx rates are increasing and I will continue to keep costs in line the best I can. I never make money on shipping but do occasionally have to include a very small charge to help with packing materials. All costs are shown upfront, so if you are not pleased with the costs please do not bid. Any buyer who has never been involved with the shipping of an item would have no idea of the work and effort involved. We are not responsible for the rare situation of items damaged during shipping. Items damaged by the shipper need to have claims made quickly. We will do our part on this end to get claims handled ASAP.

Buyers pays all shipping costs unless otherwise noted in auction description. Insurance to the lower 48 states is always an option even if I forget to offer...will always be offered when I send the invoice. Those folks who do not choose to purchase insurance take the shipment and all possibilities into their own hands. I package very well...
