RARE Josef Originals Glamour Busts as seen in the book "Josef Originals - Figurines of Muriel Joseph George" on page 26. These are extremely rare, I have been collecting Josef Originals for 25 years and have NEVER seen another pair. The book says price is $175 - $185 EACH!!! These are in excellent condition. No chips, cracks, missing paint, etc. They have very light natural crazing due to their age which actually adds to their beauty, crazing is not considered a fault. They measure approximately 12" tall. Very french, they could be modeled after Marie Antoinette or Madame Pompadour. They were designed and made in California between 1945 - 1962. The items by Josef that were designed and made in California are a favorite among collectors because they were first made in a garage and never reached the proportions of the items made in Japan, they are more difficult to find. Excellent!!
