Own a wonderful piece of Photography History. This may be the only one left like this! This photo shows a beautiful moutain range with a lake. The two models are showing off the new Kodak Camera of the time. This is an amazing and rare opportunity to pick up a bit of history and a Kodak beautiful transparency. This photo shows a 50 inch by 20 inch Colorama, that was sent by Kodak, to Kodak Dealers to display in t Kodak Retail Stores in a display that back lit them. They look amazing when light comes through from the back, but beautiful mounted on white poster board. They were smaller photo of the very large Coloramas that once graced the east balcony of New York's Grand Central Terminal for years. The Larger Colorama were 18 feet by 60 feet... about the size of a house. Some famous and soon to be famous photographers took the photos for the Coloramas, Ansel Adams, Herb Archer, Eloit Porter, etc. Even some of the models became well know later in TV and Movies. The date comes form the Post Mark and the photos were taken earlier. My research shows that the Original 18 X 60 feet Coloramas do NOT Exist anyw!! They were hard to store. PLEASE NOTE: The Colorama will be shipped to you in its ORIGINAL MAILING CONTAINER, with Post Mark and Postal Meter Strip, just like it was sent from Kodak.
