Very Rare Koken Barber Chair Ashtray This ashtray is shown on the Koken Model 5034 S/N A240637 that it came with. That chair has been identified by Koken as being manufactured on May 25, 1950. So we know the age of the ashtray. The chair style goes back to about 1935. So I imagin that astrays just like this were accessories for other earlier chairs. You will also note I have shown a picture of it on an other chair. That is a 1925 Paidar. I think it will fit all makes of barber chairs with the little attachment on the arm (clean the hair out first). Ash tray is not manufacturer marked...I found no markins of any sort. The pot could be repainted as it has seen 58 years of use. Chrome is bright with some flaking. A Super find. This auction is for the ashtray only. Please have a look at my other listings for more interesting stuff. Thanks
