Measuring 15" in length, it has superb original painted designs that include a wolverine that appears to be devouring a hand with a human leg inside his stomach. One of the most dynamic pieces of Eskimo creativity we have seen in years, it is a true mind blowing item of museum quality and includes a fine custom made museum mount. Dating in our opinion from the middle of the 19th century, it should attract worldwide attention and like all of our auctions is being put up without any reserve so good luck and be sure to check out the other rare Eskimo and Northwest items we currently have on offer.
