You are bidding on ONE, VINTAGE, Collectible âe" Murano âe" glass sculpture. I was told that it was a 1950's piece by Archimede Seguso (see fish at http://www./library/lib4a.htm ) âe" but I cannot guarantee this as I'm certainly NO expert on glass Murano statues/sculptures.

This figurine is an impressive 15 inches high âe" EIGHT POUNDS of beautiful SOLID glass - Wow. It is in the shape of a Fish. It belonged to my late brother who kept it next to a window w the natural sun light from the outside "lit it up". He said that it always was changing depending upon the amount of light coming through the window.

The massive solid glass base is about 5.5 inches across. The colors are truly remarkable. T are no cracks, nicks or scrapes on this masterpiece. The bottom is finished and showing no damage. The small two inch fins on each side of the fish's body is showing a very small amount of dust/dirt that has gotten behind each of them over the years. Most, if not ALL, I believe can be cleaned out with water I believe - if it bothers anyone âe" I will let the lucky new owner decide on this little factor. I've attached several close-up photos showing this dust/dirt âe" I can see super small/tiny crevices behind the small fins that were created when the fins were attached to its sides years ago - I can just barely stick a small plastic tooth pick in some of the tiny crevices/channels.

A unique and unusually large example of fine Murano glass.
