Rare Limbert Mission Oak Sideboard ~ 1906
Great Form & Hardware! Like alot of Mission furniture, it was not always considered fashionable, and the rugged nature of these pieces found them often being used as work tables! We rescued this one from that cruel fate, but alas, it has suffered a few bumps and bruises! The top has been refinished, but we left the rest as is. This is a hard to find model with deep arches all around, and great Arts & Crafts brass hardware! One handle on the lower right has been replaced with a victorian look-a-like. This piece is signed "Limbert" inside the top drawer. Limbert sideboards are very desirable, and we kept the reserve as low as we could! Good luck! ~ Condition is good, sturdy and with the original finish (except for the counter top). Measurements are 51" high, 60" wide, and 23" deep. The counter height is 36". Shipping by our truck will be between 175.00 and 450.00 depending on location. Send us your zip for your cost and timeframe. The very best of luck and make sure to check out our other unique auctions of Mission, Victorian and Early furniture! We take Mastercard, Visa, PayPal, checks and MO's....checks must clear:-) Click to Remember Lily Click to read an article about us in the eBay Chatter
