Wow! What a wonderful piece we have ,a very rare and unusual loetz art glass tankard with a beautiful pewter overlay.this has got to be one of the most fantastic pieces of art glass i have ever seen.the irredecsent red color is very vibrant and appealing,adorned with a very unusual art nouveau female pewter overlay and the tankard stands tall at 14".the pewter overlay has a three dimensional appearance with floral accents.unfortunately the tankard has been repaired and stapled and the lid is not attached as shown in photos.if this example of a masterpiece were in mint condition i think the sky is the limit on value,because of its rarity.you could own this fabulous piece for a fraction of what you would have to pay.if you collect unusual art glass then this is a piece you should.it is to sell.good luck..............
