Up fpr your consideration is this gorgeous Oil Spot Loetz, Moser Ruffled Crystal Brides Bowl with Figural Derby Silverplate Basket. Most Loetz glass was commissioned by outside designers, and the best pieces were produced by the union of Loetz and Austrian designers. Many of the designers were aligned with the Vienna Secession Art Movement which included Koloman Moser & Johann Hoffman. Reference: /education . I had additionally read somew that Moser had deployed enameled oak leafs as part of his signature pieces.I have been trying to obtain as much information regarding this piece since I have acquired it and have not been able to find a piece even comparable anyw! If anyone out t in Ebay land has information regarding this piece,please let me know through Ebay's Message System!!As you can see from the photos provided the glass takes on a multitude of colors depending on the light from a dark amythest to a deep rich cranberry,as well as an oil spot irridescense throughout with rich gold highlights with yellow and teal enameling, which adds to why this is absolutely stunning. The glass bowl is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks and rings clearly like crystal.
