This artist is Loredano Rosin. He was a Master until his untimely death. His brother is Dino Rosin, current master in Chalsedonio; which his older brother rediscovered after years of this lost method of coloring. Lauradano Rosin was killed in a motorboat accident in Venice. He worked for Venini as their #1, until opening his own business with brother Dino. STARTING AT A DOLLAR!!!!!!!!!!! VALUED AT well over $2500 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is a Hand Carved piece of Solid Glass in the shape of a little boy thinking. This is Hand Carved AND signed by the Artist. Tfore, we have put a picture of the first and last name, and put it extremely close. Original Value of this piece was $2500.00, so this is a real steal. IF YOU LIVE IN HOUSTON, SAVE ON SHPPING AND PICK IT UP! I have seen smaller pieces go for $1000...so this is a bargain! SOLID GLASS through and through, very heavy! use "BUY IT NOW" and get FREE shipping! This little boy hand carved statue is approximately 15" tall (inches) and about 5.5" wide at the widest point. The bottom that he sits on is solid, and I mean SOLID glass. It is a solid as any paperweight I have ever seen! This is really a gorgeous piece, and extremely heavy (reason for the high shipping, about 30-40 pounds easy.)As I stated earlier, the original value of this piece from the 1960 was $1500.00, the way I know this is it was marked on the bottom from the Estate we got it from.
