RARE LUNAR VIA TAMPA FLORIDA STERLING SOUVENIR SPOON Up for auction is this very rare and hard to find sterling silver spoon from Tampa Florida dating back to years around 1900. This spoon is a glorious rendition of Jules Verne's book, Earth To The Moon. The bowl depicts the story of the giant cannon being shot off with a embossed picture of smoke, the giant cannon and if you look closely, t are people falling away from the blast due to the shock of the takeoff. The name 'JULES VERNE' is also embossed on the bowl. The handle has an embossed picture of the large bullet shooting up straight to the moon and the words 'LUNA VIA TAMPA, FLA.' embossed on it as well. T is beautiful detail embossing down the sides of the front and back of handle. Measures bit under 4 inches and is in excellent condition. The back of the handle has makers' mark for Whiting logo of a lion with his paw on a "W" in a circle, and STERLING PAT. 1891. Please see other, some rare, collector spoons I'm currently listing.
