You are bidding on a RARE Mall Tool Co. Hand Drill Reciprocating Saw 1940's The saw was recently obtained from an estate sale, and appears to have been well cared for, exact age is unknown. This is an early portable wood handle hand reciprocating saw, that was powered by a hand electric drill. The hand electric drill was chucked onto the shaft end and you were ready to saw away. The saw was manufactured by the Mall Tool Company, in Chicago, ILL ., I believe in the late 1940's - early 1950's, but not 100% for sure. The saw is 11' long from blade tip to end of chuck shaft, the wood handle is 5" long, and weighs approx. 2 lbs. The saw is in good condition , all parts turn freely, runs great, blade needs replacing. As with the vintage of the saw t is minor pitting, normal wear and a few dings, all as noted from the photos. The saw would be a great enhancement to any collection or use it as an actual saw. The saw is SOLD AS IS with NO RESERVE. email questions before bidding. Check out my other items !
