This lot consists of a $10 National Banknote from the Peoples National Bank of Martinsville, Virginia, Charter Number 9847, Serial Number 13907, Plate Position C, Very Good to Fine condition AND a 1907 postcard of picturing the bank. In addition the lot is accompanied by a 2006 photograph of the current bank building. (The bank was liquidated February 15, 1932.) "National Bank Notes, Fifth Edition" by Don C.
