~WELCOME to Granny Fannys' Attic~ A note of thanks to old and new buyers/ friends who have made made it possible for me to share some of the finest antique textiles available on eBay. I am proud of my 4200+ total feedbacks, a long list of loyal bidders and a reputation for honesty, quality, integrity and love for what I do. It would not be possible if it weren't for all of you! Thank you ~ and bid with confidence~ as my impeccable selling history speaks for itself! Chrisanne A rare and exquisite masterpiece, this beautiful piece was featured on the cover of Needlecraft magazine in 1919 and is is in absolutely PRISTINE condition! All items I sell are in ready to use condition and any flaws will be clearly stated.I take great care in my selection and preparation for sale so I am confident you will be pleased with the items I offer. I always presoak, launder and press all items so I know the exact condition and reflect that in my listings. NO SURPRISES!!! Most of the items I will offer are from estates or I have purchased them in Europe, as I travel extensively and I try my best to reflect age and description accurately. Thanks and visit again. A rare piece of the finest Filet Crochet work, this pristine piece has an off white heavy linen center in a unique shape framed in the finest pale ecru filet crochet that is a full 22" deep at the corners~ as delicate as lace~ and amazing! I am told that the woman who made this did crochet pieces for Mary Cards pattern books, Needlecraft Magazine and The Modern Priscilla publications and I have several of her pieces listed in my store including an authentic Mary Card cloth. It is worked in miniscule stitches with finest guage thread that gives the illusion of lace and though very delicate to the eye it is very strong and sound and built to last forever. It is literally in unused perfect condition. The work is impeccable and t are very few pieces of this quality left that are not in Museums or private collections. I have hand washed it with care so it is clean, strong, sound and flawless. It measures a large 42x44" and is Museum quaility. A must for the finest linen collection and priceless find~ this is an irreplaceable piece of textile history! *** My linens are labours of love and I take great pride in offering the finest selection, condition and variety of unique and special pieces. Enjoy all of my lovely linens, laces, trims and other unique treasures by clicking . Thanks!~ ~GOOD BIDDING~
