A very attractive and striking flower handle tea trio (cup, saucer and six and a half inch square tea plate) in immaculate condition by Shelley, England, on their 'Floral Dainty' shape in pattern number 11993/6 dating from the mid-1930's. It is a rare colorway, the colors being pale mauve stars plus in-between segments in graduating pale yellow, the figural green handle having deep blue, light blue and deep pink flowers. It is in excellent, truly pristine condition, each piece having the typical Shelley "ring" demonstrating no hidden hairlines; t are no cracks, chips, crazing, scratching, fading or discolouration, and no restoration. All three pieces bear the within shield scripted, Shelley, England, backstamp applicable to the period 1925-1940 plus the painted pattern number. We have no reserve on this wonderful trio and are certain that whoever buys it will not be disappointed!
