From my personal vintage jewelry collection: This is a beautiful Joseph Mazer/Jomaz rhinestone bracelet. It is an early Art Deco style is fabulous and very heavy and well-made, as is expected with this wonderful designer. It is marked "Mazer" on the back, along with a design/patent number of 114 (?). It's faded and pretty hard for my old eyes to make out. Some history on the design house: "Founded in 1927 in New York, the company went out of business in the late 1970s. Mazer jewelry is very high quality. Andre Fleuridas designed much early 1950s jewelry and in the 1970s, Adolfo even designed some pieces for the company. Early jewelry is marked "Mazer Bros" or "Joseph Mazer". Later pieces are marked MAZER or JOMAZ." This is a Very High Quality Bracelet that Mazer has Designed and it is substantial in weight. The links are 3-D in design. Over all this Gorgeous Mazer Art Deco Bracelet is in Very Good Condition with slight age wear to the gold wash finish. This is a True Classic that will always be in Vogue and a Wonderful Collectors Piece to wear & own! It would make a Great bracelet for that special Holiday Occasion!!!! This bracelet is in an elegant design, consisting of brilliant open-backed emerald-cut emerald green rhinestones, complemented with tiny clear pave'-set rounds, set in the link connectors and jeweled clasp in a fabulous retro design. If the clear rhinestones look dark or yellowed in my pictures, sorry....this is not the case! The stones are all bright and clear with minimal if any wear to them or to the shiny gold-toned metalwork. It is an exquisite, gorgeous bracelet in exceptional condition for a piece of this age! T is only slight wear to the metal, and the stones look amazing. One of the larger green stones has a tiny bubble in it, a manufacturer's defect, I'm sure. The green stones are prong-set, while the clear stones are paste-set. Nevertheless what I have disclosed, t is nothing detracting from the beauty of this piece -- it's just awesome. The bracelet measures approx. 7 1/4 inches long by 5/8 inch wide at the widest points. It does not have a safety chain, but does have a nice tight jeweled clasp. This is an exquisite Jomaz/Mazer bracelet! Always beautiful, well-constructed, and always in style. You will not be disappointed in it! ***Pictures always make the pieces less brilliant & colorful than they are in real life!****All sales final.
