Unearthed in New York City - A Genuine and Authentic Historical Opera Artifact! Direct from the "Golden Years" of New York City 's Metropolitan Opera La Bohème MONTSERRAT CABALLE - LUCIANO PAVAROTTI - JAMES LEVINE March 27, 1976 Metropolitan Opera House ~ New York City This beautiful 11½" by 21" original vintage Miniature 3-Sheet for the great Puccini opera, La Bohème was printed by the Metropolitan Opera in New York City as a gift for cast members and staff only, and was never for sale! It should be noted that these miniatures were an EXACT copy of the huge 3-Sheets displayed in the window boxes outside the Metropolitan Opera House and are now extremely rare. Its Owner/ Collector has authorized me to auction it on their behalf; they patronized the Metropolitan Opera during its Golden Age and for this reason, wish to remain anonymous... THIS IS NOT A REPRINT OF ANY KIND - IT IS AN ACTUAL RARE MINIATURE 3-SHEET FROM 1976 WHICH WAS PRINTED JUST FOR MET INSIDERS! I have no idea what something like this is worth, so I have started the bidding at what the collector and I felt was fair.
