Thank you for visiting this auction for a BEAUTIFUL piece of vintage art pottery. The LARGE rooster tureen made by Redwing is numbered and signed. It measures 9.5" in height amd 10" in length and I think the mold is very crisp and the painting is exceptional. The soft, pastel mint color is delciately painted which gives the rooster's feathers depth. It has a gentle gloss. It is in perfect condition so I am pretty sure it was only used as a display piece in it's 75 years. A piece of art pottery to be cherished and an investment that increases in value. A rare gem from a time in history when American manufacturing was at the top of it's game.
