About me: I have been a memberon Ebay for about a year now and I've been buying many differenttypes of antiques on Ebay, private auctions, and estate sales. I am now in the process of opening up an antique furniture and decorative arts store and I overstocked a little so now I am selling some very beautiful and extremely rare antiques and items on Ebay. As you can see, I have 100% positive feedback ratings. You can bid with confidence The Item: we present to you a Rare Moore Brothers Aesops Fables Wolf Figure 19thC. This is a Rare and Superb Figure of a wolf dressed in a ladies gown and hat with a small lamb. We belive this piece is based on the Aesop's Fables or Similar. The Fine Figure group sits raised on an oval shaped base with the wolf standing upright on a rocky mound and the small trembling lamb cowering below. The Wolf is Dressed in a ladies gown and wears a wide brimmed floral hat. A Set of pipes and another object lie on the ground beside the wolf and would appear that the had been playing music to lure his prey. The piece is finished in a natural cream color and has a very faint almost indistinct impressed mark which we strongly believe reads Moore to the base. This is a rare piece and stunning example from a highly sought after maker and is a wonderful addition to any serious collection. Dates to late 19th Century.
