This is an Outstanding Vase . It has Quality, Rarity and Condition, it's all t! The vase dates from circa 1950's and is attributed to Ermanno Toso for Fratelli Toso. This vase is different from every angle. When the light shines through it glows like the stain glass windows you see in the most beautiful churches. The murrines in this piece are transparent , some stretched to large open windows, others are tightly fused and have great patterns in them.
The opening rim of the vase has been cut and polished , the pontil has as well.The vase has a hefty look as the girth is 15" ,the height is just over 7". I will let the photos say the rest.Let me know if I have left anything out. Note: The photo of the base shows some debris inside the vase, it has since been wiped out and was only dirt. The condition is flawless and whoever wins this vase is go to be thrilled to display it with their best pieces. It is just one of a few Venetian items I recently acquired and so far the buyers have been thrilled with the quality of their purchases. Please check out the lamps I am listing too.
