This is one of those rings that has real style and it was surely custom made by a mastercraftman. I love the design, it is bold and rich, with deeply carved details and it is very comfortable to wear, a true sign of a well made ring. The pearl is of course the star of this show. This is a natural, keishi pearl, it has not been nucleated with a bead as are cultured pearls, this pearl is 100% natural. If you were to cut it open, you would see that it is all 100% nacre. These keishi pearls are formed without a bead center. This makes them much more highly sought after by collectors and command top dollar. This is a large pearl, very baroque, lots of great swirls and glowing top luster. The pearl has a flawless super clean shine and deep luster, the colors of the luster are constantly changing, depending on the light, overtones of pinks, lavender, and a multitude of other soft, creamy colors. T are two natural, earth mined, very sparkly, good size diamonds which add a surprising amount of sparkle. It is much better than it looks in the pictures and the pictures are extreme closeups and magnified. This was an expensive ring to make, it is a heavy, solid 14k gold, the shank is thick and heavy, the entire inside of the gold is solid, not hollowed out to save money, this ring was definitely not made for someone on a budget. This is a heavy, solid gold ring, t is no skimping on the gold with this ring. This ring was certainly custom made, the design is so well thought out, right down to how well it is balanced on the finger. These heavy rings are harder and harder to find. Gold is very high now, $675 at closing. This ring would sell for scrap gold alone for at least $130 - $140. If you love rare, handmade, one of a kind fine jewelry, you will love wearing this ring.
