This pair of Nez Perce Floral seed beaded hide, gauntlet gloves were purchased at Cowens in Cinninnati several years back, and the intricate supple tanned buckskin hide is in good condition. These wide cuffed is accented on each side with long fringe. This pair dates from the late 1800's to early 1900's and are complete intact with no beads missing and extremly well sewn. This pair is unusually nice due to the cloth lineing which allows little wear to the inside of the gauntlets. This pair measures 12 inches long and 5 inches wide at the wides point, a person with somewhat small hands wore these .T is a small waer pattern on the very edge of gauntlets form years of use,but this does not detract from this item or cause lose of strength in any aspect of the item, I only mention this to say these gloves are not perfect ,but very ,very good condition.
