is an incredibly rare French brass button that is entitled "NUN STANDING AT CONVENT DOOR KNITTING A SOCK" and is listed in the BBB, Page 478, Plate 203, #9. This button is in excellent condition and measures approximately 1-1/8 inches in diameter. It is stamped brass, pierced at the door opening and at the croos-shaped window above the door to show a mirrored liner with steel back and wire shank. It is backmarked "D.L. Paris - with 3 stars". Don't miss this unusual and very rare button!!!
