Rare,Very Uncommon Variant,Extremely Crude and Early,Excellent Condition, 3 and 1/8th " Tall,Open Pontiled,Light Greenish-Olive Colored,Very Crudely Blown,Extremely Roughly Crafted,Squarish-Rectangular,Early 19th-Century,Philadelphia,Pennsylvania Apothecary Vial/Bottle,with a very large,single ring,heavily tooled,rolled out and"mushroomed"over,very crudely flared,applied collar.Embossed on three sides,in very rough and crookedly,misaligned strike," D,EVANS "(instead of an apostrophe,t is a BACKWARDS COMMA after the,"D",and no apostrophe between the,"N"&"S").On the side panel is," CAMOMILE ",and on the reverse face," PILLS ".No,"Phila"on the 4th-side.The bottle is lumpy,bumpy,dented and has tiny,mottled dimples over the entire surface.I've never seen the variation I've described.This bottle is incredibly early,with a very large,crude,flared and rolled over like an early mushroom,bending in towards the outer neck,almost touching it in spots.The seams are crazy,crooked and bubbled,just barely reaching the underside of the collar,and the base is so crooked it resembles a thinned,pointy diamond,rather than a square/rectangle,with a huge,almost1/4"-deep,jagged pontil.This bottle was dug at the site of a house in Sandy Spring that was built in the late 1700's,and had a trash-pit in an old spring-hole,over 10-feet deep,dating back to the
