Rabbit Hunter OCCUPATIONAL SHAVING MUG
Item : Up for bid is a very funny or odd picture for a Hunter Occupational Shaving Mug. I have seen almost the same picture painted for a hunting mug. It seems that it is always a bird hunter with a pointer (dog) and a bird with the hunter shooting at the bird. we have a forlorn hunter (E.L. HARRISON) with a gun slung over his shoulder leaving the field emty handed. The game (a pair of little cute happy live rabbits) watching him go back to his town without any luck. This hunter mug really tells a big story unlike the other simple hunting scene mugs I have seen. This one should help fill out your collection of hunting mugs very well. So don't let this one get away like the hunter did!
Size : 3 1/2" across the top. 3 3 /4" tall .
Back Markings : It is painted in gold, looks like O J - OK, maybe a signature?
Condition : It has a very strong picture, no missing or worn paint, gold is worn, one chip in the top lip and a light hairline w the handle meets the cup. Please see lots of pictures.
