Welcome.... Thank you for your interest! Ha nk and I greatly appreciate our customers. We have been busy pricing, collecting, and polishing estate items for your viewing today. Check out MOONSWING on Ebay! OVAL or OCTAGONAL Plate framed tintype of a man wearing a military suit or formal suit. Image shows man with mustache. The tintype is housed in a brass frame set in an oval or octagonal union case decorated in the center with a rose. Please note that the tintype has flaked under the glass covering. The case has one white spot on the front cover. Clasp is not the typical hook - please see photos. This clasp you simply press both sides together to lock. Clasp works fine. This rare shaped tintype case measures 2.5" wide and 3" tall. RARE Cased Daguerreotype Glass cover is in tact over the tin portrait and in good condition. The tin type has flaked some but, it is extremely old Please note the image shows its age....see photo's below. Velvet inside to protect the glass and gold has worn.
