RARE OLD Large INDIAN Mississippian Jug COA ArtifactDimensions (in): Length: 0 Width: 6 Height: 9 For auction is a very rare and guaranteed authentic Native American Indian artifact. This wonderful artifact is a Mississippian Grayware Jug. This artifact was mostly likely used for water and is in excellent shape with no cracks. It measures 22" around and is made of shell tempered clay. It was found by the late joint Senator of Morgan & Johnson ,Wm. E. McCord in 1891 on the Red River in Arkansas . This documentation was inside the vessel when it was purchased at auction in Indiana . This beautiful piece has been authenticated by Jackson Galleries and is dated to 700 B.P.
