Being offered is an old primitive wooden mold or press for cookies or butter. I am not sure which as it is carved on both sides. The front measures just over 5 inches and the smaller back side just 3 inches. It stands about 2 inches tall and appears to be walnut and is very old. It is absolutely hand-carved and irregular and some areas of the carving have gone quite faint from use. This is fresh from a local estate and has been wrapped up for several years so I feel certain it is an authentic piece and not a reproduction. It is also very light and dry and has a wonderful graining and original surface. Buyer to pay within 7 days of auction closing and contribute $9.95 towards INSURED shipping via UPS to the CONTINENTAL UNITED STATES ONLY.
