DESCRIPTION : This is a FABULOUS silver bracelet that was designed and handwrought by Horacio de la Parra (PARRA) in Mexico in 1940. Horacio de la Parra was the original owner of Conquistador ~ Conquistador produced jewelry and holloware for William Spratling and Hector Aguilar in the 1950's. You are bidding on a stunning silver bracelet that is styled in a classical art deco design. The silver almost looks woven and is accented with twenty-one silver half round sps. The closure is a tongue and box clasp that works perfectly and closes with a crisp 'click'. PARRA items are highly prized by collectors and this piece is of the highest quality ~ THE BEST! SIZE: Inside circumference when closed is 7", width is 1", and weight is 48 grams. CONDITION : Excellent vintage condition ~ the third silver half sp in from the tongue portion of the clasp has a ding on the top left side of the sp (see photos 6 and 7) this in no way affects the aesthetic beauty of this unique bracelet ~ no damage noted ~ just about PERFECT! HALLMARKS : "SILVER, PARRA, MEXICO". PARRA (Horacio de la Parra) is marked on the box portion of the clasp and "TAXCO, 925" is marked on the tongue portion of the clasp.
