is a REALLY RARE Internal Revenue badge that goes back to the early 30's. The badge has a very rare hallmark of E. C. Shaw out of Cincinnati, OH. It is nickle silver with a very unusual copper federal seal depicting what looks like an eagle standing on a US shield with flags in the background. It reads E Pluribus Unum. The badge may have had a gold wash at one time. Due to the fact that nickle silver can yellow with age, it's hard to say. The badge is full sized and is just over 2" tall. The pin looks original and has probably been repaired many years ago. This is a GREAT piece for any collector of government badges, tax items, IRS or Treasury Department memorabilia. 100% GENUINE.

This badge is obsolete and complies with all Ebay rules and regulations in that it is of a style no longer in use, more than seventy five years old and/or from an organization that no longer exists. It is of historic value. It is offered as a collectible, intended for display purposes only, carries no police authority and does not resemble any current law enforcement badge.

Payment: USPS U.S. money order ONLY . Thank you. Shipping: Priority mail, insurance & delivery confirmation will be added to the winning bid, but never a handling charge
