From my Aunt's Estate, who collected antique jars. is a Great find!! A rare 1/2 gallon Olive Green Swayzee's Improved Mason Jar. Stongly Embossed. The # 28 is on the bottom. Bubbles in the glass, one oblong one in back. One small imperfection on the glass that to the left of the Mason name. Swirls throughout glass. LIp feels rough, & tiny chips inside the rim. The Jar itself looks great!! 8 1/2" tall without lid. Zinc/Tin lid has "Genuine Porcelain Lined Cap Boyd's" with # 7 in circle. Metal show lots of oxidation. Also included is a light Aqua Genuine Boyd's Mason Fruit Jar. Has the wider shoulder, but long 2" crack on the shoulder. Metal Ball lid with milk glass insert & #16 in center. What a great gift for the jar collector. E-mail any questions. From smoke free environment. Will combine shipping. I've been reading up on a jar website & maybe this is called Deep Citron.
