RARE Original Quincy Tahoma Horse Painting - NR You are bidding on a great old 10 3/4" tall x 8 3/4" wide ( image size 5 1/2" tall x 3 1/2" wide ) gouache painting by noted Navajo artist Quincy Tahoma ( 1921-1956 ). This painting features a large horse along with a bird and butterfly. The painting is signed in the bottom right corner "Tahoma 1949". This image is in great shape and the frame is unopened. Tahoma was a gifted artist who attended the Santa Fe Indian school from 1936-1940, served in the Marines during WWII and then came back to New Mexico to pursue his art..... unfortunately he died young.This piece is fresh out of an old Denver estate.All items guaranteed, shipping will be $10.00 plus insurance in the United States.
