Beautiful and Original Tiffany Studios New York Leaded Glass Lamp. Both Base and shade are properly signed. Rarely is the opportunity to accuire a lamp of this quality given on eBay - Don't Miss Out !! A circa 1900 Table Lamp made by Tiffany Studios, New York, 31" High overall, with a shade 12" high and 22.75" wide. The shade is green glass, Geometric pattern and the lower lip curves up slightly in a helmet style ( it has over 300 pieces of beautifully chosen glass). The rim of the shade is marked with Tiffany Studios New York with a die cast mark. The Bronze finial is round and peirced with a point. The bronze base has a bulbous top and a shaft that flares at the base and rests on a 10" round foot. The base has an Egyptian lotus flower pattern at the top and the foot. Base Still has original cover Marked Tiffany Studios - New York - 368. Base Pictured in The Art Of Louis Comfort Tiffany By Vivienne Couldrey Pg 120. It is a six light base. Wiring is definitely old but not known if original. Still has old cloth cord and only 5 of six sockets work. T are a couple of heat fractures in shade. This is not unusual to see in a original Tiffany lamp. This Lamp was appraized in 2005 by Accredited Member of The International Society of Appraisers for $42,000. Buyer will receive copy of appraisal. Sorry - No provenance available. It has been a part of my collection for years and came from a prominant southern estate. Buyer is responsible for Shipping , Packing , AND Insurance. Be prepared - Bronze and Leaded Glass are HEAVY. Insurance is required.
