This auction is for a very early and rare numbered U.S. Good Conduct Medal. It is in excellent condition and comes with the original issue box, lapel pin, extra ribbon for the button hole, and ribbon bar. What makes it so rare is the number on the rim.......# 187. Almost impossible to find an upgrade to this medal because of the extremely low serial number. The issue box is in very good condition but shows its age. The box matches the serial number on the medal. The medal itself has the early style wrapped broach type pin. A must have medal for the serious collector. Don't let this one slip away!
