This is a pair of FABULOUS European pencil drawings which I was told were part of the artist's original portfolio. Each one is meticulously detailed and signed A. Perrin...one of which is dated September 1863. Davenports Art Reference Price Guide has an Arnold Perrin listed as a 19th century European artist specializing in landscapes and selling for over $1000.00...more research is needed and these renderings are very old. Each drawing is titled ...one is titled Cafe' des platanes and the other is titled Vue de Blidas....Province d' Alger. I do not know what region these landscapes and genre are from but they are gorgeous and would be just wonderful in a pair of french or italian frames....even simple black frames would highlight the detail and beauty of these drawings. Very rare and in fine condition and I am selling it with no reserve. They each measure13 3/8" x 10 2/8".
