This pair of nd vases are truly incredible. They are a pair of beautifully formed vases with handpainted gold trimmed medallions on each side with pairs of birds inside the medallions. On each side of the vases are medallions with handpainted multi coloured florals inside... all trimmed in heavy gold... ropes of white and gold paint jewels drape around the elephants heads and down the sides of the vases... The elephants heads are fantastically beautiful.... the detail and expressions are phenomenal..gold eyebrows, and gold trim on the ears really set them off, golden tusks also... each trunk swirls upward and splits into two candleabra... A wonderful four footed base with gold and white trim.... Two of the candleabra have been professionally restored, and I mean truly professional, I cannot find nor tell which ones were done, the reticulated candleabra with gold trim are so very elegant...different birds on each side but each vase matches. The vases measure 16 inches tall, 13.5 inches from candleabra to candleabra, the elephant heads measure 4.75 inches ear to ear, 6.25 inches from the back of the head to the tip of the trunk/candleabra, 10 inches from gold side handle to gold side handle...I really cannot say enough about this pair... they are so very IMPRESSIVE and elegant on display..... you will not have seen these before nor probably never again on ebay.... the photos are good representations of this pair, if anything they are even more beautiful in real life.... feel free to email with any further inquiries.... thank you for looking and do not miss out on these, you will not find them again....
