These are a superb pair of 19th century military leather boots. black leather with brown leather tops. Complete with buckle and metal spurs. Laces to the front. Height is about 19.5inches with an overall sole size of about 11.75 x 4inches. The boots were made by quality English bootmaker Peal and co of London. These were worn and owned by Lt W. H. Buckley as per plate to the top of the wooden trees. Considering the age, the overall condition is excellent. T is a small tear as per picture. Besides being a very collectable pair of 19th century military boots of an outstanding quality, would also look fabulous displayed.
