POWERFUL PAIR OF HIGH QUALITY MARBLE AND BRONZE LAMPS Another listing from this yearâe(tm)s most amazing purchase! This listing is for an extremely high quality pair of marble lamps with finely casted and engraved bronze eagles with garland wreath mounts. Our information about these lamps is that they came from the estate of a New York Federal Judge and adorned his private library for decades. These lamps have us stumped as to classifying their style. They are a mix between Art Deco and classical stylizations and influence. These lamps weigh 47 pounds each and have fine mounts all over these pieces. The bronze has a lovely patina and these lamps stand at 21âe tall. Each Eagle has a full breast plate with finely detailed feathers. One base has a sight bend to one of its corner but this can either be penned out or simply lived with. We have the shades that came with these lamps and you are certainly welcomed to them if you so desire. These are the most unique and powerful pair of lamps we have ever encountered and most likely made by commission by for the late judge. The top faux candles are also made of metal and painted a whitish gray. A great decoration for a law office, library, smoking or reading room. WE COME UP WITH SOME GREAT, DIFFERENT, AND UNIQUE ITEMS.
