AARON TURNER ANTIQUES & COLLECTIBLES A FABULOUS French Cameo Art Glass Vase by CRISTALLERIE D' ART & S.T.V.C. This great vase is from the same era as Argy-Rousseau & Leveille, Devez, Muller Freres, Legras, Lalique & Galle, just to name a few. It is exquisitely sculptured & engraved with lovely Dragonflies floating above the flowers. In iridized colors of Aquamarine. and Gold (pictures do not do it justice, a must see). Marked on bottom "Cristallerie d' Art in script forming a circle surrounding a monogram comprised of the holding company's initials "STV&C" (STUMPF, TOUVIER, VIOLLET & CIE). Also has the words "LES BLUETS" engraved on the side. Art glass production from Pantin is normally signed on the base with just Pantin in capital letters above the monogram. Circa 1890-1910. In the European book "FRENCH CAMEO GLASS by Berniece and Henry Blount, t is a fine example of a vase of same quality as this one on page 121 also in "CARVED & DECORATED EUROPEAN ART GLASS by Ray & Lee Grover on page 216. In IMMACULATE CONDITION, no chips, cracks or scratches, it's flawless! 15 1/2" tall. DON'T LET THIS ONE SLIDE AWAY, BID TODAY!!!
