BRAND: PARKER - EDWARDS STYLE: 3 1/2" DAMASCUS FOLDER 1 BLADE - (CLIP STYLE) CONDITION: OUTSTANDING, HIGHLY COLLECTIBLE NO. BLADES: 1 LONGEST BLADE: 2 3/4" CLOSED LENGTH : 3 1/2" LENGTH WITH LONGEST BLADE OPEN: 6 1/4" TANG STAMPS: "PARKER EDWARDS (OVER EAGLE) ALABAMA, U.S.A." (see pics) COMMENT: "RARE" IS A RELATIVE TERM, OF COURSE, BUT THE ENTIRE "PARKER-EDWARDS" LINE WAS ONLY PRODUCED IN THE YEARS 1985 - 1986. SINGLE BLADE KNIVES OF THAT BRAND SEEM TO COME UP LESS OFTEN THAT THE MULTIPLES. This is a very nice knife with VERY ATTRACTIVE SMOOTH bone handles. THE HANDLES HAVE A "ROSE" CAST TO THEM. THE EYE APPEAL IS FURTHER ENHANCED BY THE BRASS PINS AND LINERS. The Handles appear to be Chip AND Crack free, with no noticeable shrinkage at the Bolsters. T are numerous very fine scratches in the bolsters, though I would expect them to polish out. BLADE appears unused, unsharpened, and free of defect. Check my auctions often, as I am thinning my personal collection - (just making room for more, of course) - all knives listed are in my possession. W I am aware of any defect or damage I will call it out and try to capture it in pic. Any knives cleaned were recieved that way by me - I don't do it.
