Offered is a Rare and Original bank check from Paul Newman and his wife, Joanne Woodward from 1973. What was Paul doing in 1973? Starring in that classic movie " The Sting " with Robert Redford. This check was made out to a "Richard Brooks", (possibly the Academy Award winning director who directed Paul Newman in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof and Sweet Bird of Youth ? ) Unfortunately, I haven't done much research on this, but I haven't located another autograph example from this late, great director to connect the signature on the check back to him yet. The new owner may have a little fun with tis project if they wish. With the exception of the missing pieces on the top w Paul tore this check out of his checkbook (haven't we all!), this piece is everything someone could ask for in an autographed personal piece from this late great actor, personality and philanthropist.$3.50 USPS 1st Class Shipping/ Handling/ Postal Insurance
