Rare Scent Bottle / Flacon with Mercury Glass Dauber

Description:

Presented for auction is a lovely old glass perfume or scent bottle with an art nouveau shape. The bottom tapers to a point and it measures just under 1 1/2 inches across at the widest. Total height with the dauber inside is just over 2 1/4 inches.

T is lime green and rust-colored swirled striping in the glass. The collar is metal, perhaps silver but I'm not sure. The dauber is made of mercury glass.

When held to the light, this delicate little bottle is a show-stopper. The colored striping appears to be a stunning cobalt-blue and rose! VERY UNUSUAL! What a fine addition this makes to an antique perfume bottle collection!

Condition:

This bottle has no chips, cracks or repairs. T is no loss of mercury in the glass dauber. Lovely condition!
