RARE High Eagle Fire Helmet. "THE MONARCH FIRE HAT MANUFACTURED EXCLUSIVELY BY THE PETTIBONE BROS. MFG. CO. CINCINNATI, O. U.S.A." Embossed on ring inside top of helmet.. 1890S-1910. Earliest Aluminum Fire Helmet. Used by Cincinnati Fire Department and many others. Very Good Original condition. Liner is missing. Frontpiece is original style for this helmet, and has repair at top (see photo), and screws to attach it to the helmet are not original.I've collected Pettibone Fire Helmets for many years and decided it is time to sell them all. This is the only one with the early Monarch label that I have ever seen. This is the Rarest of Aluminum and Pettibone Brothers Helmets. Please email with questions.
