rare philco radio sign. a few chips out of porcelain, but very rare. holes cut-out for neon. restore or hang as is. NO RESERVE!! 21 inches tall x 79 wide T ARE ONLY TWO OF THESE SIGNS IN EXISTENCE AS FAR AS I KNOW. THEY WERE CUSTOM MADE IN THE 1930S FOR THE OWNER OF A RADIO SALES SHOP. THIS IS NOT A MASS PRODUCED SIGN. IT IS A VINTAGE ORIGINAL AND YOU WILL NEVER SEE IT AGAIN. FOR THOSE PEOPLE WHO ARE BLIND AND CANT SEE THE PICTURES OR ARE JUST ILLITERATE PLEASE ALLOW ME TO ELUCIDATE: THE SIGN IS BLUE AND THE STRIPES ARE CURLY AND WHITE. THE SIGN ITSELF IS BIGGER THAN A BREADBOX, YET SMALLER THAN A VOLKSWAGON. THATS ITS MAGIC! I have done a lot of research online about this and the only philco neon that I can find went up at Dingman Auction house for $6900, and this is a sign I had seen many times before. I have been selling these signs for 20 years, and and have sold hundreds of porcelain neon signs and have never seen this sign before. Again, please email me if anyone has one/knows about one just like this in anybodies collection -- I dont think t are any out t T is only one other one as far as I know and it is the flip-side to this one.
