You are looking at a very rare specimen from a one-time 2004 find in Madagascar. These first appeared at the Tucson show in 2005 - all crystals came from a single pocket and t have been no more found. The find consisted of Quartz crystals containing unique inclusions of blue/purple Fluorite, mostly octahedral or octahedral with cubic modifications. Very few of the Quartz crystals had clear faces; most had a rather silky texture and it was difficult to see details of the inclusions clearly. This crystal has been polished to allow the remarkable Fluorites to "come to light" through the super-transparent Quartz. Examination with a loupe will reveal exquisite details: several sharply terminated Fluorite crystals that are a combination of blue and purple that I've never seen before, and even some "NEGATIVE CRYSTALS", empty cavities w Fluorite crystals used to be. Simply incredible! This is likely the last that we'll ever see of these amazing crystals; the mine owners had no new material in Tucson the last three years and we were only able to purchase a few of these crystals.
