THIS QUARTZ CRYSTAL This is a magnificent Specimen of a Quartz Tabular Doubly Terminated Crystal , quite rare formation in all senses, it is plenty of small crystals inserts along the crystal. T he crystal is glittering under the bright light. Really a hard to find collectible item. The Tabular Crystal is recognized as a flat crystal, usually with etching or notches (major striations) on one or more sides. GEMSTONE: Quartz is a very common mineral found in all types of geological environment. It clearly varies in terms of varieties, colors and forms. Some of the macrocrystalline or large crystal varieties are popular as ornamental stones and gemstones. Cryptocrystalline (crystals too small to be seen even by a microscope) varieties are also used as semi-precious stones and for ornamental purposes.
