Estate fresh from Saugerties, NY, and 100% guaranteed to be as stated an antique and not repro. This ca. 1840's Ram's head/hoof designed figural sterling silver trophy is one-of-a-kind. With its classical regency styling and heavy repose floral design, this piece could truly be your trophy if you win this auction. The Trophy Measures 6 1/4" Tall. Note the detailing to the ram's head and detailed hoofs. They are very life like. The upper portion is beautifuly robust and the lower shows the ram's heads and swags. Pictured are the markings just below the rim and underneath the cup. This is a must have for the advanced collector. It is slightly off camber in the legs and the rim has hardly noticeable bends to it. Don't let this one get away from you...
