RARE RED WING ALBERT PICK CHICAGO 6 GALLON WATER COOLER

Fresh to the market and new to EBAY is this fabulous advertising water cooler made by the Red Wing Stoneware Company. The cooler is Remarkably Clean and shows a perfect Cobalt SHIELD Logo with large 4" Red Wing. The markings are quite dark and read "ALBERT PICK & COMPANY CHICAGO QUALITY VALUE SERVICE PIX". The cooler measures 15.25" in height and 11.5" in diameter and is completely hand turn with rolled rim. The gallonage mark and the Union oval are in cobalt on the interior base. T is a stylized 6 with oval that reads "RED WING Union Stoneware Co. RED WING MINN." The spigot hole has minimal roughness and slight mineral deposits surrounding the exterior hole, possibly from the original spigot. The handles are in excellent condition with original wire bales. The cooler has a clay anomaly, 1.5" by .5", on the rear base that we have shown. This occurred in the making and does not detract. T is also some extra clay on the interior that we have shown. Again, this occurred in the making. The only notable that we can find is a 2" hairline that does not go through . It is extremely light and difficult to detect and is shown in the photo. It begins below the 2nd cobalt line from the upper rim and is located on the back side of the body. This could be a scratch as it does not catch on the nail, but we wanted to mention it for accuracy. T are no other chips, cracks, flakes, or notables. T are only imperfections that are innt to the making of stoneware. This outstanding cooler is a RARE find and great cross collectable. It would make a valued addition to any REDWING or Advertising Stoneware collection. Buyer must contact us within 3 days of Auctions end.
